Overview

The Portuguese Coastal Camino (Caminho da Costa) is a breathtaking variant of the famous Camino de Santiago pilgrimage route. Starting in Porto, Portugal’s vibrant northern city, this route hugs the Atlantic coast, weaving through charming seaside towns, golden beaches, pine forests, and historical villages, before joining the Central Camino in Redondela, Spain, and continuing to Santiago de Compostela.

This path is perfect for pilgrims seeking a quieter, more scenic Camino, infused with the fresh sea air, local seafood delicacies, and a blend of Portuguese and Galician hospitality.
