Itinerary
Departure from your hotel in Lisbon or from the airport to Évora.
Upon arrival, we will take a walking tour of the city to visit the Roman temple (II AD), one of the most emblematic in the city, the Sé, a beautiful medieval cathedral, and the Bone’s chapel – a chapel inside the Church of S. Francisco whose walls are covered in skulls and bones. You have to visit it to understand it! Free time for lunch. We will continue to Adega da Cartuxa, where we will have a guided tour and a tasting of its famous wines.
After the visit, check in to your hotel and time at leisure. Visit the Roman baths or have dinner in one of Évora’s traditional restaurants, tasting the flavours of Alentejo. Local dishes may include, among others, Lamb Stew, or Migas”, a bread-based dish, but not only that.
